Hallo,

I quit with your browser and go for your competitors. The reasons are: 1) not easy to find support 2) automatized so called "help" is just time consuming and of no use 3) no way how to set things by myself or very hard to find

I need reliable browser, where I can find solutions quickly, not a stupid browser, who is behaving differently on different computers with no reliable support.

Also I hate demands to fill in headings etc. Time consuming bullshit.

Thanks for the feedback. Many users prefer articles over forums, but those sometimes lead you in circles rather than helping you find the specific information you need.

Now that you found your way to the forum, even if you have lost interest in the answer, could you let us know the question you needed answered so someone can look at the related articles and try to fix them?

By the way, you need to reply here at https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1417127 and not by email.

Issues with a weird looking font or missing glyphs can be caused by a problem with a specific font and you need to identify this font and fix this.

You can right-click and select "Inspect" to open the built-in Inspector with this element selected.

You can check in the Rules tab in the right panel in the Inspector what font-family is used for selected text. You can check in the Fonts tab in the right panel in the Inspector what font is actually used because Firefox might be using a different font than specified by the website. Note that the Fonts tab might be hidden under the down arrow at the far right.

You may find that it can be resolved by finding and removing duplicate fonts installed in the local ~/Library/Fonts folder, that are conflicting with standard system fonts.

You can check in Font Book for font issues like corrupted and duplicate fonts. Note that you shouldn't disable "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above" as this will cause issues with iconic fonts used by webpages to display small icons (you may see text labels instead of icons).
