I'm afraid that you lost the logins stored on the Sync server if you did reset the password for this account. Do you possibly have other devices still connected ?

Resetting the password for the Firefox Account because you do not remember the password will remove all data stored on the Sync server because this password is used to encrypt your data before it is uploaded to the Sync server and only this password or a possible recovery key can decrypt this data.

Might passwords be retrieved using the logins-backup.json file in the Profile folder? Although this would need to be done sooner rather than later.

Close all Firefox windows. Move logins.json to a backup folder. Copy logins-backup.json to a backup folder. Rename logins-backup.json to logins.json. Restart Firefox.

If this doesn't work you can always exit Firefox and then restore the original two files.

If you do not know where your Profile folder is, see here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data

Also, if you lost bookmarks then you might be able to restore them from Firefox's own backup. See here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/restore-bookmarks-from-backup-or-move-them

If you have created a new password for Firefox and cannot remember your old password, it may not be possible to retrieve your saved passwords. However, there are a few things you can try:

Check if your saved passwords are still available in Firefox:

Open Firefox and click on the "Menu" button (three horizontal lines) in the top-right corner of the window. Select "Logins and Passwords" from the dropdown menu. In the "Logins and Passwords" window, you should see a list of all your saved passwords. If they are still there, you can try to manually copy them down or export them for safekeeping. Check if your saved passwords are still available on another device:

If you have synced your Firefox account with another device, your saved passwords may still be available there. Open Firefox on another device that you have synced your Firefox account with and check if your saved passwords are still available. If they are, you can try to manually copy them down or export them for safekeeping. Use a third-party password manager:

If your saved passwords are not available in Firefox, you can use a third-party password manager like LastPass, 1Password or Dashlane to store and manage your passwords. If you had previously used a password manager to store your passwords, you may be able to import them into Firefox. If none of these options work, unfortunately, it may not be possible to retrieve your saved passwords. In the future, it's a good idea to keep your passwords in a secure location, such as a password manager, to avoid losing them if you forget your password or change devices.
