Hi Susan, is it possible that you saved your Amazon login in Firefox's password manager (Lockwise) and Lockwise filled it in for you? Or are they really just dots (not dots used to mask letters and numbers) and login fails?

Thanks for responding. I had saved an Amazon password a while back and it worked fine until a few days ago when the dots appeared. The dots are just dots, an endless stream of them. I tried to delete them but when I start to type in my new pwd, the dots reappear.

If you view or try to edit the password on the Lockwise page (menu button > Logins and Passwords) is it corrupted there or does it look normal there?

Did you check this entry in Lockwise in case this wrong password is accidentally stored ?

Sometimes a website uses JavaScript to modify the login fields and Firefox might offer to store this modified password and thus override the correctly stored password.
