Firefox 67.0 (64-Bit) on HP envy 360 (2 in 1 laptop used in tablet mode)

A couple of days ago firefox asked me to restart to enable an update. At the time I was playing a solitaire game with the laptop in tablet mode and I could select , drag and drop playing cards. I restarted the browser and this functionality has gone. Touch screen is still working - I can scroll and access menus and tabs normally. Other games from different web sites have also stopped working i.e. 247suduko.com
