webpage slowing down browser or unresponsive script
I am getting the message that a webpage may be slowing down my browser or page not responding. It happens in all browsers. I have windows 10 and I have tried everything I can find to try to fix it. My computer is almost unusable. Please help

Thank you for your response but I have done all of that and it made no difference. The only thing that I can see that I haven't done is create a new firefox profile and delete this one. I was hoping There was something else before I do that but my computer is almost worthless because of this problem.
Hi, please : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 61.0.0 with a Full Version Installer

I have also done all of the other suggestion. The malwarebytes. Scanned everuthing. I even took the computer all the way back to factory default I don't know what else is possible
What A/V and firewall are you using?
No i have done all of it. Even as far as taking the system back to factory default. There is nothing left in the computer. All apps were removed and everything. I am at a complete loss as to what else I can do. It is almost unusable.
I have Windows defender but I also installed malwarebytes and hitmanpro as suggested
