As a starting point, could you check your browser history to see what site(s) you used? You can use the Library dialog, Ctrl+Shift+h to see more than will fit on the menu.

The history list does not show services that are used in the background, so if the page used a script to submit your card information for validation but no new page loaded, then history won't show which site was contacted in the background.

Make sure to verify that you are on a trusted website (click the globe/padlock) when you enter data like a credit card number.
