Firefox flickering (Not responding) pages minimize or maximize by themselves. Help
I've done some research on this and I've attempted the fixes recommended.
I've turned off hardware acceleration and restarted firefox. No help at all
I've tried firefox in safe mode with all ad ons and plugins turned off. Still the same experience.
I've even tried re-installing firefox. Still nothing.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options) key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
Mac options? I have a PC . Would it work if I just tried the shift key?
For Mac's, the options key. All others, the shift key.
So start firefox in safe mode.. then press/hold shift during what part?

- 1 Download Firefox For All languages And Systemsv41 {web link}
- 2 Uninstall Firefox from your computer {web link}
DO NOT remove your profiles. - 3 After, reboot the computer. Then run the full installer.
This seems to have helped a little as the flickering has lessened. However I do get it along with a (Not responsive) issue whenever I load certain pages, or move the firefox window around.
Can you post public links to those pages?
also it's concurring just loading this forum question at support.mozilla.org
Refresh Firefox {web link} is a LAST RESORT ! !
Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings
If you're having problems with Firefox, refreshing it can help. The refresh feature fixes many issues by restoring Firefox to its default state while saving your essential information like bookmarks, passwords, and open tabs.
sorry for the late reply, i'm having a graphic card issue. hard to tell what's a flickering caused by firefox or me using my downgraded card now. will get back to you soon
