Can a Mac os x application access my gmail password in Firefox?
I set up a TunnelBear account using my yahoo email address from my temporary location in Italy. Soon after setting up the account I got a message from Google saying, "Someone recently used your password to try to sign in to your Google Account ... This person was using an application such as an email client or mobile device." The message said the unauthorized access was from IP 173.193.19.90, which is linked to TunnelBear Inc. I did not give any information to TunnelBear about my Google account when I registered with them. The only thing I can think of is that the TunnelBear application somehow got that information from the Firefox application on my computer. Is that possible? Has anyone else seen strange/suspicious activity from TunnelBear?
Thanks.
/Bill

hello bill, did you sign into google while connected to the tunnelbear network? - because this is the most likely explanation for the message you saw from google warning you of an (your?) ip from a previously unseen location...
