Hi, I have used firefox for a number of years now, and have recently brought a brand new PC. So i installed firefox but, some webpages don't load properly. I have restarted my PC, restarted firefox and reinstalled firefox.

Here are some examples: http://s13.postimg.org/6h0ux8usn/Webpage_Problem_1.png http://s18.postimg.org/u8apidzrt/Webpage_Problem_2.png

So any ideas of how to fix this?

Thank you for your help, Steve

Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
  • Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • Press "Command + Shift + R" (MAC)

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

If you use extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) like Adblock Plus or NoScript or Flash Block that can block content then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking content.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window or otherwise make changes.

I have the same issue. Random pages don't load properly. eg news.com.au Is there a compatibility button somewhere?
