Private Data not all clearing

I use the clear private data with everything checked off. The history seems to clear - but the address bar still has all the sites I have visited. I would like to have the address bar clear. Working on a mac.

Had been through all those, and it was not working. Realized that any new history I was clearing after clear recent history. Was only pages I had visited before updating firefox - so deleted my profile and they were gone
