What are virtual folders?
The first fix in the [release notes] says:
"Large virtual folders could be very slow"
What are virtual folders? I can't find anything about it in the documentation.
Is this supposed to fix the ongoing Quick filter issue with large folders? (It still freezes)

Virtual folders are those that do not exist but are groupings of messages that have been organized by Thunderbird. That would include unified folders favorites folders, etc.
