Windows 10 update 1703 breaks Thunderbird, messages not shown
Windows update 1703 (Creators) has broken Thunderbird. I am seeing no emails past the end of 2016 - everything with a 2017 date is completely gone. Obviously this is a disaster and I have to fix this immediately. Any ideas?

how did the creators update install... I have not had the update yet.

It installed just fine... except for this issue, which also broke Quicken and Dropbox in exactly the same way. Apps think nothing's happened after 2016.
It also looks like I've lost all folders created since the end of 2016.
have you contacted Microsoft product support. It sounds to me like windows has done some sort of restore point to a point in time 6 months ago.
