Cannot login to Gmail after changing my password

Although there are some posts that discuss this issue it is still present and the solution is not working. I am using TB on Mac OSX. After changing my Gmail password (and allowing for apps with less secure apps in Google) TB does not allow me to change my password. Any fresh solutions? What I get is this and it freezes there -- NEXT does not work at all.
