how do I delay the sending of an email ? Pick a date in the future to send an email created today.
I would like to be able to create an email to myself and then schedule it to be sent at a later date so I can use it as a reminder for events or appointments. I used to do this all the time with MS Outlook.

There is an add on called Send Later that does that. Get it from the add ons page and install it.
I downloaded the "send later" add on like suggested.... I can't figure out how to use it, it makes no sense, no instructions....... a complete waste of my time so far.
Did you install it?
The add on authors support their software if you need help.
Hardly seems like no instructions. There seems to be a pretty good user guide if you bothered to look for it. http://blog.kamens.us/send-later
