I play the on-line KY lottery on a regular basis on my computer. As of late I am getting a message that states we cannot validate your location when I attempt to play games...ie. powerball, pick 3 and pick 4 etc. I had no problems until the last few weeks. I can play on my phone but I don't like to play on my phone.

I tried to add the KY lottery to the location permission area under the Privacy and Security settings. It will not accept it. I know at one time several website that I use used to be in the location permissions and now they're gone and I can still use the sites.

Confused and not sure what to do.

Hello, I'm really confused about the autofill feature. I've been using this feature for years and noticed that on some website the password field is filled in, but the username is not. I searched the support pages and forum topics, and it seems that is a very common issue. According to what I read, it could be either:

1. The webmaster decided to tell the browser not to fill in the username, but let the password to be filled in.
2. The webpage use some out of standard approach to name the username field, so Firefox is unable to recognize it.

What annoys me is that there's no way to understand if it's the first or the second case, so you just accept it.

It would be very helpful if Firefox could:

1. Provide a way to understand what the real problem is.
2. Add an option to override moronic security approach of the web designer, so the "do-not-fill-in-this-field" property is overridden.

Trying to open any map in the firefox browser and it does not show the map. I have to open other browsers in order to see the map. I have not been able to figure out why or what to do. The map page just appears as black.

Firefox is my default browser, but often shows my location wrong in my home location. Google chrome and maps shows it correctly. Please tell me where firefox thinks I am and how I might correct it.

As shown in the picture, you need to use a two-dimensional code to log in and share the website, the two-dimensional code can not be displayed normally!

I did not really know what happened but every time I opened home page, it did not load. It was working before but suddenly it didn't. I have tried writing "about:home" into search bar and it returned nothing. Just a blank page and an empty search bar.

I've checked the settings and it should be fine. Nothing wrong with it. I've checked the flatpak version and its ok. I was able to open my home tab.

I am using Firefox 148.0.2 (64-bit) Debian .deb.

Select the text in the text input box to type (overlay typing), the Chinese input method will flash, then nothing will be typed and the selected text will disappear. 在文本输入框中选中文字进行打字（覆盖打字），中文输入法会闪一下，然后什么也打不出来并且选中的文字也不见了。 As in the following figure, it almost always happens when you select and overwrite text. 就像下面图中情景一样，对文字进行选择覆盖的时候几乎一定会发生。

Fire fox wont allow Prowriting aid to run. Its a desktop app and should be able to run. I have tried updating both programs. Changed settings and done everything I can think of but it still wont work. I dont wish to change Browsers but may be forced to if this problem cant be fixed

Places where I've observed this behaviour:

• The 4th video in the description of https://store.steampowered.com/app/1363080/Manor_Lords/ (ignore the media carousel at the top of the page)
• This video https://dolphin-emu.org/m/user/blog/progress-report/2603/rebelstrike-texturestreaming-av1.webm that's loaded in an embed at https://dolphin-emu.org/blog/2026/03/12/dolphin-progress-report-release-2603/

When these videos are in view and playing, they're decoded using the CPU and the browsers frame rate tanks (heavy/laggy scrolling when scrolling with mouse scroll wheel), I have a Geforce 3070 which includes support for AV1 decoding so I'm not sure what's happening.

AV1 videos found on Youtube like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=foqVJq-XPTg are fully hardware accelerated by the GPU (Stats for nerds confirms it's playing an AV1 copy) and doesn't exhibit any performance issue.

GPU usage is monitored by Task Manager in Windows 10. For the problematic videos the GPU Decoding is at 0% with a workload being spread across many of the CPU cores. For the non-problematic 4K video the GPU Decoding is around 60-70% and no workload is distributed across multiple CPU cores.
