I cannot get Adobe Flash to install. I've tried a few of the solutions suggested elsewhere. I've disabled hardware acceleration. I've been to the Adobe site and downloaded version 11_8_800_94, which was the recommended install version for Firefox. In C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash is the file NPSWF32_11_8_800_94.dll. I've tried running the older version - flashplayer11_2r202_233_win_64bit.msi. Flash just doesn't want to appear in Add-ons/Plugins.

Your list of Important Modified Preferences is showing:

plugin.scan.plid.all: False

This is preventing Firefox from scanning your computer to find the Flash plugin. Open about:config and reset plugin.scan.plid.all to "true".

Also note that you currently run Firefox in Private Browsing mode what also may contribute.

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
  • Deselect: [ ] "Always use private browsing mode"

Changing "plugin.scan.plid.all: False" worked for me, thanks.
