I downloaded a stupid Kiosk extension to try it out for an event we are having but as soon as I restarted Firefox it went into Kiosk mode and I cannot get it out. I've tried left/right clicking on all the edges and corners, I've tried sliding the pointer round corners etc as this normally were you will find a pop up box to exit.

Does anyone have any ideas? I cannot remember the name of the extension but its the first one that appears if you search Kiosk and it has 81 reviews.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

You can check for problems with the localstore.rdf file.
