I want to upgrade from 3.6 to 7 (8 does not work with Ancestry) how do I do it?

Says it all really. I use the Ancestry website a lot. Reports say that Ancestry is not compatible with Firefox 8. The images cannot be downloaded. Ancestry clains to be compatible with Firefox 7. So I want to upgrade from 3.6 to 7

Ask Ancestry when they plan on fixing their image upload for Firefox 8, as Firefox 9 is scheduled to be released on Tuesday.

So Ancestry fixes its website to be compatible with 8, but Firefox then upgrades to 9. What I need to know is how to upgrade to a compatible version. i.e. Firefox 7.
