tabs are not retained upon closing. they are gone with each new opening. i want them to be retained, as the previous version did.

  • Tools > Options > General > Startup: "When Firefox Starts": "Show my windows and tabs from last time"

You can also use Firefox > History > Restore Previous Session

Make sure that you do not use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox to clear the "Browsing History"
