How to show links in separate tabs
Hallo, I used to show different links at the same time in different tabs. This does no longer work. Why?

Hallo,
I assume that you are inferring about the Split view feature. Here are some ways to check if the split view is working as intended :
Re-Enable in about:config
- type about:config in the address bar, accept risk, then set browser.tabs.splitview.enabled to true.
Use official method for split view
- rightclick a tab, select add split view, or hold alt and click another tab to pair the tabs.
Updates
- make sure Firefox isn't out of date
If there is problems with it loading the bookmarks, then right click the bookmark, select properties, and uncheck Load this bookmark in the sidebar
Hello
https://www.firefox.com/en-US/firefox/150.0/releasenotes
For information https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/split-view-firefox
browser.tabs.splitview.enabled, is true, by default
Modified
No, but I can define more precisely my problem:
The way showed by dessertdish puts two half-views in the 'main screen' of firefox - just what "split (the whole) view" means.
What I want, is to have on top of the main screen a series of some tabs resulting from each new link followed which will be made even longer when clicking again a link. So I can see some tabs in the same moment.
If I want to go to a previous search result, I have to click the backward arrow to see them individually only.
Sorry Fylvara, thanks a lot to you and all contributors, but this does not yet work with me AND it will not help.
I just want to have various tabs side by side so that I see from the tab which one I have to see - for instance for comparing quickly separate tabs for German, French and English wikipedia article. If all the links I opened are one behind the other as in the current one-tab-non-solution this needs a longer process of clicking and checking...
Maybe you are looking for tab groups? Tab groups in Firefox
Or vertical tabs? Use the sidebar to access tools and vertical tabs

SOLVED
I remembered that there used to be an extension for my wish - and I found it as
"Double click new tab"
This helps me to get a separate tab without using both hands...
Glad you found what you were looking for! There should be a "Mark as Solved" button in here that you can use.
