This lasts possibly 3 seconds. It has an email logo and a high pitched sound. It just flashes on, not long enough to read, just long enough to be annoying. The location is always on the Top Right corner of the display. I have all notifications and web push blocked in Firefox preferences. System is Mac, OS 12.1

If you blocked notifications in Firefox preferences, the popup notifications are likely from another application. In MacOS, all applications will be sending pop up notifications in the top right corner.

Open System Settings, go to Notifications, and review the "Application Notifications" section. Do you see the email logo in the list of applications? If you do, click on the application's bar, and adjust the notification settings for that application.
