Recently, I'm finding that I'm writing an email and when I come to send it, I see that a part of it has already been sent to the recipients.

In other words, they are receiving my half-written message which can appear very rude because I haven't finished it and haven't signed off properly.

What am I doing wrong?

A message is sent if you press Ctrl+Enter (File/Send Now). Are you doing that with the intention of making a hard line break, as in a word processor?
