Since updating to FF 57 (Quantum) certain websites are unresponive such as Quora.com, Crownbets.com.au, TheAustralian.com.au. These are about 3 of my everyday sites of about another 7-10. The sites all load up okay but are unresponsive or nothing is clickable. The extensions that I have installed which I thought may be the issue in HTTPS Everywhere, uBlock and Flashblock are also installed in another copy of FF version 56 and all websites work under that version 56 as well as Chrome, Palemoon and Waterfox so it is definitely a Quantum thing. It is not my security software as these sites work in non Quantum browsers. I have also started FF in safe made and the 3 websites above are still unresponsive. I have also done a clean install TWICE. I have emailed the 3 websites admin but have received a standard "Not our doing" reply.

You can see in attached Quora screenshot that the login button is greyed out yet my login/password are correct. It also has a Internet connection error (highlighted) yet my network is up and the page will work in other browsers. Again, a quantum only issue.

I am using Win 7 64x FF Version 59.0.2 64x

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the ActiveX.

Sorry, did not see you tried Safe Mode.

One issue that seems more common lately is Firefox's Tracking Protection feature. When it is blocking content in a page, a shield icon will appear at the left end of the address bar next to the padlock icon. This article has more info on managing this feature: Tracking Protection {web link}
