When trying to open Epub files with Lucifox (or any other reader) in firefox, it gets stuck in an infinite loop of new tabs.

I didn't have this problem until I set Firefox to be the default program for Epub files. I am using the Lucifox reader. I have changed the default program to adobe pdf reader, but this did not stop the infinite loops from occurring. I have also refreshed firefox reinstalled lucifox several times and followed some other suggested solutions. None of them have worked and I am considering changing to Chrome now, as I need an Epub reader on my browser. This seems to be a problem that others experience as well, and I would really appreciate any suggestion for a solution.

Hi

Have you tried using a different EPUB reader add-on such as EPUBReader? (You may need to remove Lucifox completely.)

The issue may be one with the add-on rather than Firefox and this may help you to see these files on Firefox.

Well it seems to have something to do with Lucifox, which is weird since it worked with that program earlier and does work on my work computer and tablet (although that is windows 10 and 8 respectively and I am on a windows 7 running machine now).

Epub opened the file, however Epud won't read them properly. This is a problem I have had before and is the reason why I started using Lucifox.
