When using Ctrl+D and selecting drop-down menu, is there a way to display more than the 5 most recent folders?

See screenshot (it's in German, but should be the same with English version). When I use Ctrl+D Firefox allows me to select the folder I want to store the bookmark in. In the drop-down menu (at the bottom of the list) I can select between the five most recent used folders.

I wonder if there is a way to increase the number, e.g. 10-15 most recent folders, maybe via about:config or something like that?

As far as I know, that list cannot be expanded. But you can use the "v" button or click Wählen... to show the full folder tree.
