After pressing "Remove All" cookies, under both "privacy" and "history", one cookie will not delete. What is the problem?
Through "preferences", I went to "privacy", then "remove individual cookies", then "Remove All". All of them were deleted except one. I tried again and the same thing happened. Then, returning to "privacy", I went to "history" and to "Firefox will: use custom settings for history". Then, to "Show Cookies". The same cookie screen appeared, again clicked "Remove All", and the same cookie continues to remain. I then typed the name of the cookie site into "search" at the top, and another cookie appeared with the same site name but a different cookie name. Clicked "Remove All", again, and still both remain and will not delete.
What is the problem? Why can I not delete this cookie? Is it a bug?

Hi ayema.
What cookie do you see not deleted (for which site)?
I used another server and went to websites of the cookie. Then, went to "preferences" and to the page to delete cookies. That site was included and also did not delete immediately. However, after a couple of attempts, it deleted. Then, I returned to Firefox. The cookie was still there. After one attempt to delete, it deleted, and so far has not returned. Strange...but glad that it finally deleted. The site was: answerscloud . com
Could you explain what and why it happened? I'm curious and also want to learn.
If clearing cookies didn't help then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file in the profile folder that stores the cookies got corrupted.
- Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and if present delete cookies.sqlite-shm and cookies.sqlite-wal in the Firefox profile folder in case cookies.sqlite got corrupted.
You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:
- Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)
