Have run a boot-time virus scan with Avast! Pro and it reports a number of temporary internet file have viruses in them and the only option I have is to ignore them during the scan. How can I delete them manually?

Hi, also, if you are referring to temporary internet files on your PC, try Disk Cleanup: Start menu > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup.

Have you tried clearing the browser cache? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-clear-firefox-cache

Overall, if they're in the Firefox browser cache they aren't going to cause any problems unless you go in there to "mess around".
