In Protonmail (or is it Firefox?), while reading email I discovered that my tabs apparently disappeared, but then I discovered that my tabs and my Protonmail are now in separate browser windows. Is that because of the update, or something else? I really want my browser to keep my Protonmail tab in the same browser window. HELP.

Numerous tabs appear whenever I open Mozilla. I have used them at some time in the past, but never all on one occasion. SOME WERE LAST USED AT LEAST SEVEN MONTHS AGO.

Related may be that sometimes when I follow a link on one website, the destination appears on my screen as a new opening of Mozilla. The previous site(s) are completely obscured

I've been moved to MacOS at work and since then, Firefox will not always restore my pinned sites when I start it the next day.

Here is what I do:

1. Right click a tab, select "Pin Tab"
2. Go about my day
3. At the end of the day, I close Firefox by using command Q and shutdown my Mac
4. The next day, I start Firefox and most of the time, my pins are gone

I did not have this issue on Windows Firefox. I am using MacOS 26.5.2 and Firefox 152.0.4 Firefox says "Your browser is being managed by your organization" in settings. It is a link that can be clicked and the only active policy showing there is "DisableAppUpdate" which I assume is because we have our own tool to manage software updates.

Any idea what could cause my pinned tabs to disappear? I did not really customize the settings so far, I do NOT clear browsing data when exiting FF and the startup option "Open previous windows and tabs" is NOT selected. I have Ecosia and 1Password as plugins.

In an accounting/payroll software application, a new window opens instead of a new tab. How to I fix this?

I've already tried about:config method as well as the simple 'tabs and browsing' method within Firefox settings. Nothing seems to work.

Windows 11 expensive high performance tower PC. When I am closing Firefox I am warned that I am about to close 80+ tabs although. I actually had only 13 tab groups (closed) and one ordinary tab open (The New York Times) I close Firefox anyway and ALL the group tabs disappeared.

Sometimes, when I am warned that I am closing 80+ tabs, they luckily they haven't disappeared upon restarting Firefox. This happens often.

I know how to reconstruct my tab Groups proceeding from listing all tabs.

Sometimes the tab groups don't disappear. It makes no difference whether I start a Firefox session on my just rebooted PC (and run PC for a minutes only using Firefox) or not. When I recently closed Firefox I could see from task manager that there was minor activity showing in the Firefox app which surprised me. I hope you have an idea of what might be occurring. I'm not a novice, I purchased my first PC in 1989

Hey guys, so I always have a bunch of tab groups as it helps me organize my tabs. But every time I accidentally close Firefox or my pc resets, all the tab groups are gone. UNLIKE google chrome where, even if I close chrome they will be on the toolbar for me to open again. So could you please add this feature on firefox as well because this is getting very irritating because I have to open the individual tabs again and again? Thank you.

How can I expand horizontal pinned tabs? This tiny icons that now appear are useless, especially if you want multiple Google tabs, i.e. for search, maps, mail, they all appear as the Google "G"

What have you done to the Settings feature? It's a mess with those weird little icons on the side. I am just trying to figure out why my tabs keep closing on me. I can have about six tabs open with intention of going back to them, and then..poof.. they disappear. I went into Settings to see what I might have changed but I can't figure this out.

Is it a bug? Is there a way to turn it off? It's too easy for me to accidentally close a tab this way. I cannot reproduce in Troubleshoot Mode but I can't find any setting or installed extension that seems to control it.

I can not seem to find the button to open a saved, closed tab group. I have googled, and there seems to be a lot of people with the same issue. However, None of the information given under those forums provides me with a clear, easy solution. Please help.

In Firefox 152.0.5 under Windows 10, when I hover the mouse pointer over a tab, a balloon pops up showing the text that is on the tab. I find this extremely annoying as I can read what is on the tab. I have searched on the Mozilla site, and I have searched with Google, all to no avail. How can I disable those redundant popup balloons?

Firefox opens as it should but it opens with two additional tabs showing. How do I prevent this. What setting/s do I manipulate to prevent opening multiple tabs on start up? windows 11 / HP Omnibook, new purchase initial set up of FireFox.

I have grouped several tabs, I believe there were 3 groups in total. When I close Firefox and open it again at a later time, the grouped tabs are gone, but I was able to retrieve the groups by right clicking and selecting the hidden group.

Ever since the new update, the groups dissolve when I close Firefox and I can not open them again. The Edge Browser has it implemented such that groups stay, so when you close and open the browser, they stay greyed out on the side bar.

So, is this just a problem with my device, the new update or Firefox in general?

It would be really nice if this problem could be solved, such that I can keep groups even after closing the browser. And I can delete groups only when I want to.

Last night Firefox on my laptop performed an automatic Firefox update.. The Firefox that was installed can only display a single tab. This is a major for me, since I normally work with multiple tabs. This problem may impact a large number of Firefox users. The documented recommended fix for this problem did not fix the problem.

My last automatic upgrade to Firefox installed a version of Firefox that allows only 1 tab.. This is very frustrating. I need multiple tabs. I searched for solutions, but have not been able to fix the problem. I have used Firefox for over 10 years. Please help change Firefox to support multiple tabs, or I am going to have to find an alternative to Firefox. Having multiple tabs is critical to me.

I've been trying to move off from Chrome to FireFox (FF) since FF is superior in many ways but it's been very hard since FF doesn't have the sub-tab groupings like Chrome does to help with organizing my open tabs.

It's easier for me to move from Chrome to Edge browser instead of FF.

Can Mozilla FF add this "sub-tab groupings" feature please ASAP to help me and millions others move on from all Chromium based browsers?
