I need to update my email to my new account. I list it as my secondary and need to make it my primary email. When asking this question I got a response that there was a "make primary" button next to the secondary email that you could use to perform this task. My account does not have that option. I changed my email last year and need to correct it for my Firefox account. Please help.

My instagram does not open on my firefox browser. I have cleard all the cookies and cashes. I tried Incongnito, hot spot sharing. I have tried everything its still not working. Can you help me?

So I guess my Firefox update to ver. 147 from 146 by its auto update feature, but I realized all the past personal data (ie, history, cookies, passwords, profile, etc) was gone.

I have Mozilla Account (I think it's the same as Firefox Account back in the old days), so my personal data is now retrieved from some device as far as possible, but I lost local personal settings like Shortcuts on the main page on my laptop,p which is the main device to do everything.

I can't help what happened to me, and I will rebuild what I used to be on that day, but I am curious if it's just me, or there is some logic to cause this data loss.

I find that when I reopen Firefox, many of the tabs in a group are duplicated, appearing both inside and out of the tab group. Is there a fix for this or something I can do? I'm on Firefox 147, on Windows 11. Thanks.

Hi, all of a sudden today, firefox has not worked properly, initally i thought it was my router, but upon trying google chrome, i can confirm its firefox not working as intended. I cant watch any youtube vids, they just sit on a loading circle, facebook wont load and various other websites wont load. Ive tried clearing cache/cookies etc, tried resetting my pc, nothing is working?

On the "Your Firefox has updated" page, I recently found out that in addition to Firefox Sync, you can also create a backup in the form of a local file. When I try to follow the instructions on the support page for the function (here I get stuck. For some reason I am only allowed to choose a file to restore my data, but I am not allowed to create a new backup. I have tried refreshing Firefox and even creating a new profile, but both have the same issue. I am not seeing a "manage backup" button either (see screenshot).

It's not the end of the world thanks to Firefox Sync, but I would like to get it working as a nice backup :)

With the update I lost everything, bookmarks, passwords, extensions, and themes that extensions gave me.... LIKE WTF did you do? I need to get all my stuff back as it was, just on the extension that let's you create a theme, took me an entire day and maybe more to be done, and by day I mean more than 24 hours, now I don't even got my history, bookmarks, NOTHING!!!! I need my stuff as it was, I will be waiting for a response, a proper response on how to get all back, if not please let me know so I could move to another browser like Brave... I spend a considerable amount of time in Mozilla and all the features, all gone, and because of this I didn't switch to Brave

After updating to Firefox 147 from 146, it seems that some areas in page rendering are becoming corrupted.

Using the attached example from https://soundcloud.com/solarstone/tracks, it is possible to see a corrupted song bar. In the other song, where the full bar chart should also appear, there is a black area, which seems like a different kind of corruption where the content is simply not being displayed.

This did not happen in version 146.

Is there anything I can do, or any information I can provide, to help debug this issue?

I am unable to open my profile on Firefox. I am using desktop and windows 11. I am typing this question on DuckDuckGo browser because I was unable to go in. It will not let me search, open new tabs, refuse to open new tabs and even to click on settings. I also tried to delete it in an attempt to log in again but it won't even let me delete it. The image I shared is all I see. No bookmarks, shortcuts, ways to do settings and other things. Thank you!

The primary email that I have For my account is no longer active. I can't use that to sign in. Then email is arris@reagan.com. I do have a secondary email. it is mystikog@protonmail.com. Your system wants to demand that I use that primary email address. I can't do that. Can you help me?

I’m experiencing the following issue:

When I open Password Manager (about:logins), the page is completely blank.

This problem started about three months ago, after I updated Firefox to a newer version.

Currently, on the about:logins page, I can export all my accounts and passwords as a CSV file (so the data clearly exists), but nothing is displayed on the page itself.

I also tried importing the same CSV file (exported from about:logins) back into Firefox. After importing, all accounts and passwords appear in the left panel. However, when I click on any item, the right panel is still blank. If I close the page and open about:logins again, the items still do not load.

My current Firefox version is 147.0.

How can I solve this problem?

Using Safari and Apple's Mail app on iMac. I have multiple desktops with some Firefox pages open in some of them. If I click a link in an email from desktop that does not currently have an open Firefox window, Firefox does open a new window on that desktop but instead of giving it the focus, the focus jumps to whichever Firefox window on another desktop most recently had the focus. If I use the keyboard shortcut Cmd-Tab to return to the Mail and then Cmd-Tab again to switch back to Firefox, Firefox then gives the focus to the newly opened window on that desktop. This is annoying and seems like a bug.

Exactly what it says on the tin. help?? it still has autofill for my emails and stuff, i didnt do anything weird my computer just went dead while firefox was running. please send help i left all my stuff on google and i dont wanna have to work to get them back.

How do I get help if the community does not respond??

I've asked for help several times, but have had no responses. Everything appears in English in Firefox, as I would hope - except my bookmarks. I have tried all the settings, and all of the resets, and have even deleted the app and replaced it on my Macbook Pro. Nothing changes.
