I've just tried turning on the free VPN, but websites like Imgur are still detecting that my connection is from the UK and are blocking my access. I understand this shouldn't happen, and doesn't happen with other VPNs.

   Open Firefox
   Enable Firefox VPN
   Go to VPN settings
   Try to add a domain to the exclusion list
   Attempt to use a wildcard (e.g., *.ru) or a regex pattern

Actual results:

The VPN only accepts exact domain names. Wildcards and regular expressions are not supported.

Expected results:

It should be possible to:

   Use wildcard patterns (e.g., *.ru) or regular expressions to exclude groups of domains
   Define more specific rules that override general patterns (e.g., exclude *.ru but allow a specific domain within that zone)

This would provide more flexible and practical control over VPN routing.

I am unable to turn VPN on or select a location. This appears to have started after the latest Foxfire update. Are there any steps I can take to correct this issue?

I do NOT want to use ANY VPN services. Since you introduced this, or rather, forced it on me, my browsing experience has been terrible. How do I turn off VPN? There is no VPN icon on my topolbar despite what your instructions say.

Hi team Firefox, I can't see the option to activate the free integrated VPN with Mozilla, despite trying to personalise my toolbar. the option does not seem available. I'm trying to use the fee integrated VPN and for now I could only find a way to download the Mozilla VPN extension which requires a subscription. I would like to try the free version first thanks

I have Firefox 151.0.1 and don't see VPN on my taskbar, and it's not available on my customize toolbar list. I want to try it out. Can you help Me? Thanks, I want to try it out. (I have Win 11)

There are many articles that Firefox VPN ist available in Germany as beta starting from Firefox version 149. I use version 151 but there is no icon referring to VPN

I'm in Canada and the VPN icon does not show up either in my toolbar or when I try to customize my toolbar. I get the Firefox updates telling me about it, and follow all instructions but I still can't find it. Am I missing something?

I also have the same issue with the new split view option. It does not show up. I can access it using the ALT button, but not through the icon.

I would like to know what will happen with the VPN when the 50 monthly GB has been reached. Can we buy more?

After the new update came by VPN Icon disappear. Went and did the about:config and switching it to True and restarted and still not showing up. Went into settings and privacy and security don't see VPN in there like how it use to be. Just wondering if it's done or is it a bug/glitch.

After update to Firefox 150, and now again after update to Firefox 151.0.1 , I get the message :

"Activer le VPN dans Firefox

   Recherchez l’invite de configuration du VPN dans le coin supérieur droit de votre barre d’outils de Firefox. Si elle n’est pas affichée, cliquez sur l’icône du VPN dans la barre d’outils. "
