I want to add a dedicated search bar next to the address bar. When I search how to do this, I read: To add a separate search bar in the Firefox browser, navigate to Settings > Search and then click on "Add search bar in toolbar". This will place a dedicated search bar next to the address bar. But when I search for "Add search bar in toolbar", I get a message there are no results in Settings. I have Windows 10 laptop.

So far I have accumulated a dozen windows and each window has 1-10 tabs. I would like to be able to see a comprehensive list of all my open tabs and to be able to click on any one. Is there a way?

open Thunderbird, downloads new mails from server Thunderbird open on Mac, can not download new mail

-tried link (cloud down arrow on left side)
-tried menu file/get new messages/ "account"
I think this happened after I updated to 128

NEED FIX, pain in the ass to have to quit and restart thunderbird to get my new mail messages.

There is a bug which was reported 3 month ago https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1959157. It appeared out of nowhere and I don't even know if it was fixed since then. But it is bugging me a lot, no pun intended. Any help would be appreciated.

This goes back to an issue dating back to version 132 and a previous issue.

Since version 132, if I go in and delete individual cookies via the "Settings", "Privacy and Security" "Cookies and Site Data" and "Manage Data", for any website I've visited, I am repeatedly asked to reenter my primary password. Even if the individual website cookies I delete are for websites that I do not have a password for.

Highly annoying and never used to happen until the version 132 update, and all subsequent updates.

Why does this happen and if it's intentional, is there some rationale for it?

I have a lot of Firefox windows and tabs open, and I really don't want to lose my session.

I wanted to open a webpage in Firefox in fullscreen mode. But evidently there's some kind of serious flaw in Firefox that makes it incapable of opening webpages in fullscreen mode. Everyone says the only workaround is to open the webpage in kiosk mode. So I tried it.

But now I have two big problems:

1. One of my Firefox windows, with all its tabs, is stuck in kiosk mode. (Even if I close the window and then restore it with Ctrl+Shift+T, it's still in kiosk mode.)

2. All new Firefox windows I open with Ctrl+N are also stuck in kiosk mode.

I don't know what to do, and I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks!

I've been using an auto-refresh addon for a site I'm on but it forces me to go to the tab to refresh it manually and there's no way to turn it off! I accidentally clicked some kind of check box but it's not there anymore so I can't undo it! I've looked all over Firefox Settings but it's not there! Tried closing and reopening the tab, the browser and but nothing works!

Hope someone can resolve this "Thunderbird mystery" for me.

I just sent an email to 9 people. The message was a few paragraphs and would normally be 8.6 kb in size. (I know because I copied and pasted the body of the message into a "test" email, and TB showed 8.6 kb as the size.)

My message included an attachment of 58.0 kb in size. [It also included 3 links, but those shouldn't contribute more than a miniscule amount (just the actual letters in the link) to the size, right?]

Yet when I sent the message plus attachment (and copied myself), Thunderbird showed it as 5.3 MB (!) in size.

How can that be? Any help would be appreciated.

With the latest update I get search suggestions in the search bar. I want to use my bookmarks. How can I turn off this feature?

In the example, I typed dict and got dictionary.reference.com, while the bookmark I wanted was just ductionary.com. Thank you.

Using Thunderbird E-Mail - and also have Pixel 8a phone 1. up until recently been able to "share" article from Google News to my local e-mail provider (penteledata) via "share" at jhdavis@ptd.net 2. that action would place a new e-mail in the form of a message

    Email would display as follows - 
    From:  570-xxx-xxxx@mms.att.net
    To:      John Davis  (jhdavis@ptd.net) 

3. Text of the message would display the URL (https// . . . . ) of the article

     which I could then replicate - (open link in browser) 

NOW - cannot get this link to work - the "shared" e-mail link still appears on my google phone - but does NOT appear anywhere in my Thunderbird E-mail I have not changed any settings in Thunderbird or on Pixel 8a - HELP !!!

The Governor of Poker site gives me an error message when I try to log in with Firefox:

Your browser does not support graphics API "WebGL 2" which is required for this content.

Not a problem with Google, Edge or other browsers.

Graphics Acceleration is turned on.

Any other thoughts?

I have not been receiving emails from Earthlink using Thunderbird since 6/26. I have two laptops, both running Win 10. One (A) receives Earthlink emails, the other (B) does not. The last email I received on (B) was on 6/26 at 7:05 am CST. I use Thunderbird on (B) and Windows Mail on (A). A is not configured for either MSN or Gmail. Only Earthlink. B uses all three.

I have two Android phones, and both are receiving Earthlink, MSN and Gmail emails.

I can go to Earthlink webmail using B (or A) and emails are there, and are accessible. (I am configured POP) As with the MSN account I log on to Gmail webmail, and everything is there.

I’m currently only receiving emails on Laptop B from my MSN (dot com) (Hotmail) account I also have a Gmail account, but get no emails from Gmail either. The last Gmail email that I received on Thunderbird was also on 6/26.

I have not made any recent changes to settings. There seems to be a common denominator in this somewhere, but I can’t find it. Can you help me sort this out? Thanks, Ted
