When listening to radio online, the Navigation Toolbar is often removed, so if the radio player loses its feed, there is no way to refresh the browser without visiting the site again and starting from scratch. I really hope that a Refresh command can be inserted back into the top menu at the earliest opportunity.

Not exactly sure what you mean, but try these:

where is the refresh button? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/784815

"Reload" has disappeared from "View" dropdown in navbar. How can I get it back? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/975824

If you have a keyboard, you might also want to just use the F5 or Ctl+F5 key combo to refresh the page.

Hi - many thanks for your help. It's confirmed what I feared, that 'Refresh' has been removed from the 'View' menu and is now an icon in the Navigation Bar (which when listening to radio stations does not appear).

May seem like a small thing, but FF just went backwards for me.

Some entries in the View and History menu have been removed to clean up the user interface because studies showed that these were low usage items.
On Windows and Linux these were already hidden when you used to mouse to access the menu bar and only appeared when you used the keyboard.

You can find Back, Forward, and Reload in the right-click context menu in the browsing area or use the buttons on the location bar on the Navigation Toolbar.
