Wifi scanning won't find WPA2-EAP networks

help_seeker replied

I have a ZTE Open. If I go to Settings->Wifi, most of the wifi networks are not there. In particular, a WPA2-EAP which I need to use.

Thanks

What I can mostly find on my device is WPA-PSK. If you can change your router settings to that then you should be good to go.

Unfortunatelly, it is the University Network, so I can't change it or ask them to change it :(

I don't consider myself as an authority on this but I have the same problem and all of the information I can find seems to indicate the WPA-EAP Enterprise support has been disabled in current releases of Firefox OS.

See https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=869843

There is hope that this problem will be fixed with version 1.3, but this will take a while. Look at the answers to this question
