Copied bookmarks file into profile on new computer but they don't appear.

Copied bookmarks.html file from previous computer running XP and dropped in into the .default folder in the profile folder on the new computer running Win7. The bookmarks do not appear in Firefox even after restarting Firefox and restarting the computer.

Since Firefox 3 bookmarks are stored in places.sqlite, you should copy that file instead.
