TURN IT OFF
how ... do I turn off enhanced tracking protection because it's breaking everything? I need my security and this is actively preventing me from acquiring the necessary security apps and accounts I need. This is actively making me less safe. It also won't let me get a different browser

I had spent over an hour trying to fix it, it was just stuck on. No matter what I clicked it would still be on. I'm stilling having this problem and it's busted my actual security set up so badly I'm having to arrange to sell this laptop, because I can't turn the crappy enhanced protection features of firefox off. I have a security set up that works, that makes me anonymous online, I cannot use what I pay for because of firefox, because it won't turn off, no matter how many times I click it, I refresh, reboot, wait twenty minutes, it keeps refusing to turn off. I'll click it, press save, wait twenty minutes, whatever, then I'll refresh, and it keeps turning itself back on.
How does the "breaking everything" exhibit exactly? Can you attach any particular errors or broken states that you observe?
