The AI enhancements kill battery by more than triple idle CPU consumption, It gets rectified by blocking them but at every restart the Firefox has them again activated!!! If it does not get corrected soon I will have to switch browser

Hi Nikos

Are you turning off these features using the AI controls in Firefox?

Thanks Paul for the quick reply, I was turning off the features and then I tried manually with about:config. But they kept re-activating. I thought to uninstall and re-install, it proposed to do a refresh and fixed the problem, now the settings remain blocked as desired.

Yet, seeing how these AI "enhancements" are killing battery life and the average user has no clue about going to the task manager, I would suggest that you moderate its adoption and by default use in the new updates.
