since making Firefox my default browser I keep getting "google chrome is not your default browser" how do I get rid of it? I have been trying. But google advice keeps making Chrome my browser. If cannot get rid of it I will just have to make Chrome my browser again.

I may suggest that you uninstall Chrome, and change the default search engine for not using Google. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/add-or-remove-search-engine-firefox
