Threads
Hello! It seems Thunderbird emails are suddenly being 'threaded'. It is causing great confusion in my office.
I need to see each email from a person separately in order to find them easily and also to reply to each one at the time it is received.
Can someone please explain in very simple non-techy jargon:- a) How I 'unthread' messages already threaded AND b) How I stop any new ones being threaded in the first place.
Thank you Tylex

- First, to unthread an EXISTING folder, click View>sort by and click the unthreaded option. Do this for all existing folders. - to eliminate the need for this for future folders, see settings>appearance where you can set default for FUTURE folders

I was glad to assist/ :)
Sorry, but where is this View you are to click on? - I saw other places refer to symbol to select headers, but nothing about sorting there
I tried rightclick folder, main menu has some view, I see nothing.
Thanks.
EDIT: I had hidden menu bar, when showing that I can get by

On my Emails there is a little figure at the top rt hand side which looks vaguely like this ][][ turned through 90 degrees next to quick filters. I click on that, the drop down which contains View shows Sort By I click on that and near the bottom of that drop down you see the threaded options. Hope this helps you.
