Delete e-mail message
I have 3 Thunderbird e-mail addresses. The primary one is franks@rochester.rr.com, and the secondary ones are dda1@rochester.rr.com and muse@rochester.rr.com. The franks@... and muse@... ones are fine. However, I cannot delete anything (messages or folders) in the dda1@... address. The only way I can delete a message in dda!@... is to right click, choose Move to, and move it to franks@rochester.rr.com/Trash, where I can delete it. I cannot do this with folders. Related (I suspect) is that I have 2 Drafts folders within Trash, and I cannot delete them by any means, including Empty Trash. I can right click, Move to the franks@... Trash folder and delete it there, but it still remains in the dda1@... Trash folder. What is wrong with dda1@rochester.rr.com? p.s.: I've contacted my e-mail provider, and we have determined that everything works well there. The problem is with Thunderbird.

That's because it's not possible to delete any default folder and never has been possible. Why you have 'Drafts' in the 'Trash' is weird let alone have two of them.
Is this an imap mail account? If you do not want to see folders in an imap mail account then you unsubscribe from seeing them.
You need to alter the 'flag' status of the 'Drafts' folder which is in the 'Trash' so it looks like a normal folder and then it can be deleted or moved out of the 'Trash'.
You will need to install this addon extension:
How to install addon:
Please note there are two ways of installing the addon.
If you download the xpi file - first image below is a guide. Other images help as a guide if doing it via Thunderbird.
Once addon extension is installed and is visible in 'Menu app icon > Addons and Themes' > Extensions:
- Right click on effected 'Drafts' folder in Trash and select 'Properties'
- Select the 'Flags' tab
- uncheck all flags eg 'Draft' flag that has been set.
- click on OK
The 'Drafts' folder should become a normal folder, then quickly delete it or move out of Trash as it's possible that flag may get reset as it is a default folder.
