Are you running any kind of security software, or are you using some sort of proxy scanning your web activity?

You can try to start Windows 10 in safe mode with networking enabled.

Does the problem go away?

Windows safe mode disables anti-virus software. This is a troubleshooting step, not a solution.

Has Mcafee auto switched on a VPN ?

I had Norton do an update and unbeknown to me, it added and activated a VPN. It was causing me no end of problems, sending good valid links to websites that were not expected.

I ran into the same problem and assumed it was just a Trojan Horse attempt to get my Yahoo login & password. But then I noticed that I wasn't getting any new messages in my Yahoo account. So when one of the pop-ups said it was from opus.analytics.yahoo.com then I really did log in, and I haven't had any issues since.

It is creepy though. I don't see why the "casalemedia" is connected here. I'm running Ubuntu 22.04 and have FireEye installed. Maybe Yahoo is running some ad-ware here, or casalemedia is connected at their end for some reason.
