i recently opened another email account using thunderbird, so i now have 2 email addresses with thunderbird... the first email i had set up, keeps emails in my inbox (on my pc) when i delete them on my iphone SE. Id like to have the same setting for the 2nd email address, but i dont know how to set that up. right now when i delete the email on my phone it also deletes it on my pc. at the same time , even if i read an email on my phone, it shows up as read on my pc. basically id like the pc and my iphone to function separately .

Sounds like you set up the second account as IMAP. For what you want you'd need to set it up as POP. https://support.mozilla.org/kb/faq-changing-imap-pop
