
mail merge not working after recent update
We had a recent Thunderbird update today and our mail merge no longer works. We use a template with '{{email}}' in the 'To' field of the template and Thunderbird is trying to validate this as a valid address. I have tried a number of things without success. This is a critical part of our business and is used daily.

I suggest you address support issues with the add-on to the add-on author whom I have found to be most helpful and responsive over the years.

looks like upgrading the plug-in addresses the issue
