Why can't I down; load Firefox?
It gives me error message lost profile.

You may need to use another browser to go to the URL to download it. https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ If can not download with any browsers please try getting this and run it. https://www.malwarebytes.com/mac/ and if can not download that you need to go to a friends and download to USB

What site are you downloading from?
I am in Safari and going to Mozalla firebox to down load for a MacBook Pro, I get error message no profile.
Are you getting this message during the download, or when you start Firefox?

Create a New Profile 2nd URL Fred provided. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles TEST Look on your Desktop for a Folder called OldFirefoxProfile If is

- http://kb.mozillazine.org/Transferring_data_to_a_new_profile_-_Firefox
if not : uninstall Firefox and then Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 59.0.1 with a Full Version Installer

I have MacOS High Sierra Version 10.13.3. Could this be why I can not download Firefox.
That should not make any difference, as long as you download the installer for your system from;
