all websites listed insecure and will not open using firefox 55.0.3 on mcbook ox10.12.6
I INSTALLED OX10.12.6 ON MY MAC BOOK PRO. I THEN UPDATE FIREFOX OT 55.0.3. NOW IF A GO TO ANY WEBSITE , I GET THE MESSAGE THAT IT IS AN INSECURE WEBSITE AND IT WILL NOT OPEN IT. HOW DO IT GET BACK TO BE ABLE TO USE FIREFOX? I HAVE TWO MAC WITH THE SAME SET UP. ONE WORKS AND THE OTHER DOES NOT.

hi, first please make sure that the date, time & timezone are set correctly on your system. if this doesn't solve the issue (or it is already set properly), a solution depends on the individual circumstances:
- what is the error code shown when you click on advanced on that error page?
- please also give us more information about the error by clicking on the error code, copying the text to the clipboard and then pasting it here into a reply in the forum like shown in the screenshot.
thank you!
date ,time, timezone is set properly error code : sec_error_unknown_issuer all web sites show this error

thanks, it looks like your avast software is meddling with secure connections - it's best to disable the scanning of secure connections in its webshield preferences...
I'M SORRY BUT I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DO WHAT YOU SAID TO DO.
