I am getting a LOT of spam emails how can I stop them?

There are a lot of spam mails coming into my inboxes and I dont know how to stop them They are form defferent sources and now I think they have piggy backed onto emails I have sent Please cn you offer any advice. I have used Firefox and Thunderbird for years

I suppose you'll need to be more careful how you use your email address. Don't give it to everyone, and don't use it to register for any newsletters, or whatever sites asking for an email address.

Once the damage is done, you can use Junk Mail Controls. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Junk_Mail_Controls

I suppose you'll need to be more careful how you use your email address. Don't give it to everyone, and don't use it to register for any newsletters, or whatever sites asking for an email address.

I have 3 mails one personal one for my work and one for the charity I run so its difficult not to have them go where I dont have control. I changed the junk settings and I hope that helps. Thanks for the link
