New installation. Downloading only 118 messages out of 345 messages available on server. Why?
It is a new installation. I am using rediffmailpro server. There re 345 msgs on it. When I started Thuderbird it started downloading the messages showing "downloading 1 of 345 messages" but got stalled once it reached 118 messages. When I again do receive msgs it either shows "downloading message 1 ot 267" (but no msgs are downloaded) or "no new messages to download". I am using thunderbird on Windows 7 home basic 64 bit system. Can anybody help me.....

have you tried with your anti virus not scanning mail?

Many Many Thanks to you. I just disabled the antivirus for 5 minutes & all mails were downloaded. Thank once again....
