Frequently when I try to start a new page the browser hangs but if I stop download with the red X and try again it usally works.
When I click a link to a new web page Firefox hangs. If I stop the download by clicking the red X and then refresh the page that usually works. I noted this about the same time that I installed Kaspersky Internet Security 2015.

- On Windows: Hold the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
- On Mac: Hold the option key while starting Firefox.
- On Linux: Quit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox -safe-mode
(you may need to specify the Firefox installation path e.g. /usr/lib/firefox)
When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "Start in Safe Mode".
