I have a singlesignon to a work site. A small pop-up window opens when I go to the site so I can log in. Worked great until I installed the latest version of Firefox. This particular site only works with Firefox as well. I contacted IT for the work site and they said the new Mac version of Firefox has done this to several others in the workplace. Any chance you can send me the previous version of Firefox so I can do my required work? Thank you!

Along the same lines as cor-el's post, could you forward this workaround to your IT:

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.

(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste ntlm and pause while the list is filtered

(3) Double-click the network.negotiate-auth.allow-insecure-ntlm-v1 preference to switch it from false to true

You can get whatever version of Firefox you want from here:

Why would a work site demand only one browser? Are you sure you are unable to use, for instance, SeaMonkey?

By default it is set to show compatibility with Firefox in its user-agent. That might actually work.

The link you gave me to previous releases is nice...but I have no clue what to select. One version back worked just fine. Any chance you can give me the direct link to that one???

The worksite works with Explorer and Safari on a PC - Only Firefox on a Mac.

Thanks for the monkey site - but this worksite is very private...No way something else would work. The IT guys are trying to figure out why this version doesn't work.

Very disappointed...just have to say. Maybe a direct link to the previous version would cheer me up? Thanks!

Nevermind now. The IT guys gave me a direct link to the previous version and I am good to go now!

Thanks anyway!
