Hello

After a recent update, the bookmarks menu changed—when you click a certain line, it glows bright blue. I understand this is for ease of use while using bookmarks, but I'm used to leaving this menu open all the time, and after these changes, the blue glow is very distracting.

In light of this, I'd really like to know how to restore the old display, or, if that's not possible, I'd like to see special personalization settings for this type of thing in future updates.

In the previous version of Firefox, my Bookmarks folder was fixed in to the Sidebar so that when Firefox opened the Bookmarks were visible; how do I fix the problem?

Hi, I updated to Firefox 146.0 this past week and immediately noticed that the UI elements (scrollbars, sidebar, tooltips, etc) are once again in dark mode; the main websites window and the firefox settings remain in light mode (as set by my user preferences). I've been using browser.theme.toolbar-theme and browser.theme.content-theme to force light mode of all UI elements regardless of theme and as of this last update they have stopped working (editing them to any value of 0,1,2 does not make a noticeably change to the UI). What internal setting changed to stop firefox from using the browser.theme.(etc) settings and what can I edit to get them back? Thanks, Bre

As the title says , im really hoping for a small change that will happen from Firefox team or an addon , since i started using vertical tabs it was the best thing ever happen. however im really just hoping to have the option to increase the icon size of the tabs, i usually just have the icons showing without the name of the tab thing, but my only need is just to have the ability to increase the size of the icon tabs thats it

My Bookmarks Sidebar is now displaying with white lettering on a very light gray background, making it almost impossible to read. How can I change either the font color in the sidebar, or the background color?

12/10/25 am my yahoo bookmarks are opaque. they are still there just not visible until you click on them. Later 12/10/25 I rolled back firefox to earlier time and all looked correct again. today 12/11/25 opaque bookmarks again.

How do I disable the cruft which appears in the URLbar? Specifically, the trackers detected symbol, the certificate verified symbol, the bookmark this page symbol, and the question mark symbols which appear on both the URLbar and the searchbar.

Firefox for Windows just updated to v146.0. Now I seem to have an extra bar under my toolbar and address panel. How do I remove it? I can't seem to drag it in the menu customiser.

Can one remove the green dot update notification on pinned tabs without having to create an bespoke css file? Think some sites spoof this to get you to click on them.

A chaque demarrage de firefox, la taille des fenetres retaurees se reduit. L'environnement est du KDE Plasma X11 sur une Debian 12. La methode est simple: Ouvrir firefox. (Mode restauration de la session precedente active) Quitter firefox. Reouvrir firefox. La fenetre se reduit a la retauration des pages.

Comment remedier a cela? J'ai deja tenter avec un nouveau profil. Le probleme persiste.

Hello, I just updated to Firefox version 146, and now the bookmarks and history in the sidebar are no longer visible because the background is yellow-green and the text is white...so, invisible!

I hope you will fix this quickly with a new update, as it's a real problem.

Сегодня обновил Mozilla FireFox до версии 146.0 (64-разрядный). После обновления в панели "закладки" (cntrl+B) появился ненужный мне цвет выделения только что открытой мною вкладки (смотри скриншот). Как поменять данный цвет на менее контрастный ? У меня включена "темная тема", цвет выделения - ядовито-голубой. Хочу изменить его на другой более мягкий цвет. Как это я могу сделать?

Today I updated Mozilla Firefox to version 146.0 (64-bit). After the update, the highlight color of the tab I just opened appeared in the bookmarks bar (Cntrl+B) in an unwanted way (see screenshot). How can I change this color to a less contrasting one? I have the "dark theme" enabled, and the highlight color is a bright blue. I want to change it to a softer color. How can I do this?

I have a chromebook with linux enabled and installed firefox according to mozilla's instruction - via the sudo get-apt command. The cursor changes from the default to a very small adwaita. I've spent hours googling this issue and everyone I've come across had used some third party repo or was trying to shove in their own custom cursor theme. Literally all I want is my regular cursor back, and I have no clue why mozilla would have a specifically set cursor for their browser instead of just having it default to os. I don't really know what I'm doing here, but I cannot begin to state how tired I am of messing with this dead-end issue.

Hi i accidentally adjusted the width of the sidebar too far and now i cant pull it back over. I have tried using the show sidebar button but nothing happens. is there a way to reset the width of the sidebar without having to drag it?

The scrollbar slider isn't displaying correctly. If I grab the screen, zoom in, and look very carefully, it is possible to see that the slider is a very slightly different darker shade of grey to the rest of the scrollbar, but it's almost impossible to see, so something is clearly not working properly here. The scrollbar should be highly visible as it's the most often-clicked control of the entire browser.

Meine Firefox-Rahmen (Menü oben und unten) sind rosa eingefärbt und im Text auch unterlegt. Ixh möchte wieder das gewohnte Hellgrau. Das funktioniert aber leider nicht über Einstellungen und add Ons. was ist zu tun? Ansonsten wechsele ich auf MSN
