I am wondering what was the exact reason for disabling the 600% volume extension.

Should the users be worried about credential theft or was the extension injecting affiliate links?

I don't plan to use any provided AI chatbot. I want to use models that I have downloaded and tested myself and which run on my PC. So please add the possibility to connect through major LLM APIs, the same way other tools way simpler than Firefox already allow to do.

Until some days ago I could use the add on "Video Downloadhelper" without problems on my old Macbook Air (2017) with OS10.15.7 but suddenly the add on was not available anymore. I purchased a valid license for this add on. In the Firefox adjustments it was mentioned as deactivated. Could you please let me know, how I can activate the Video Downloadhelper again? Thank you for the help! I'm wondering if other AI chatbots, Lumo, in particular, will continue to be added as options to the updated sidebar? An unofficial extension exists (https://codeberg.org/daskashk/lumo_ai_by_proton_chat_in_sidebar) that adds the ability for a link to appear in the sidebar. However, it does not offer the full integration that the official browser update provides to the other supported LLMs. I like Lumo for its privacy, encryption, and the ability to make "Projects." Currently, the feature appears to be a curated list of providers (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini). I would like to request the addition of Grok (by xAI), or more importantly, a Generic Provider Framework that allows users to manually configure custom endpoints.

Technical Specifics & Implementation Questions:

   Manifest Configuration: Is the sidebar AI provider list controlled via a remote settings push, or is there a local about:config or JSON manifest (e.g., within the browser resources) that can be modified to include Grok's web URL?

   Context Injection: How does the current sidebar handle DOM context for features like "Summarize this page"? If I were to manually add Grok via a side-loading method, what are the required API hooks for it to achieve parity with the built-in providers?

   User Agent & Authentication: Are there specific CORS policies or User-Agent strings enforced within the sidebar's iframe/browser-view that would prevent Grok’s X-auth or real-time streaming (SSE) from functioning correctly?

Use Case: Integrating Grok’s real-time information retrieval directly into the browser’s native sidebar would significantly optimize research workflows involving live data, which is a key differentiator from the currently supported models.

The above topic doesn't really apply to this. There was no option for this problem.

Now, I use Firefox Relay to mask my email address. It has always been an icon on the toolbar. It has now disappeared. I would like to use it but can't without that icon.

I am having a problem with Firefox. Some websites do not load correctly and certain extensions do not work as expected.

I have already tried restarting Firefox and checking my internet connection, but the issue still happens.

The new version of Download helper is uncommissioned for YouTube. I have tried everything including reinstalling, clearing cookies and catch etc. How can I just revert back to prior version as this seems to be a degraded version?

I have been with Firefox since Netscape Navigator so I understand how it works. I have a Bulletin Board Forum (work on it daily). Posting to the forum using long form bbcode is very time consuming and tedious.

I've been using bbCode for Web Extensions (bbCodeWebEx) (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/bbcodewebex/) for years and up until the recent Firefox update it has worked perfectly.

Matthew G. Saroff (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/user/96273/) was the developer of the extension.

I have tried using the extension on multiple sites. The extension is there and functional but nothing registers in the edit windows. not even here.... I've looked for replacement extensions but none have the specific abilities I need for posting on my forum. Specifically- The ability to select an img coded image address and make it link to a specific webpage url. Other common bbcode can be tagged using the edit window's fully enabled wysiwyg editor. I'm not sure if other extensions are having issues with this release but the rest of my extensions function normally. Something changed which blocks the paste functionality of the coded clipboard text into the edit window. I might be a developer issue but my question to him is, as so far, unanswered.

I tried to install an older version of Firefox, Downloaded the install, created a new profile, uninstalled this version and it worked until I restarted Firefox (with updates set to manual). It automatically updated and I lost it again. I tried using ~about:profiles~ to revert but it reverted as that profile this version. Years ago, I used Waterfox so I could use the Legacy extensions. I stopped using it when I got accustomed to the new extensions. For the past few years, Firefox is the only browser I use. I don't want to have to cut my teeth on a new browser but as the administrator for my forum, I use bbcode everyday.

I am wondering if any other Firefox users are having issues with the recent update? Thank you for reading my concerns.

I PAID for "dark reader" I got the activation key but I cannot activate it because the instructions says go to "MORE" and there is NO "MORE"! I hunted all over the settings & extension & themes, but I cannot find anyplace to activate this extension. Did I just waste my money? I have poor vision, I NEED a dark page with white letters. Thanks to being a touch typist, I don't need to see the keybord or page to type but i can't see what I am typing on a dam w hite page! I now cannot click on "Email me when someone answers the threadil"

I first installed Video Download Helper several weeks ago and it worked fine. However, since the update of 04 March, 2026, it no longer works with YouTube. (It does, however, still work with Instagram.) Having checked all of the settings (which I had/have not changed), I uninstalled it today and then re-installed it. This hasn't helped. With YouTube, the Downloader icon (pinned to toolbar) simply remains grey and does not show any videos when opened. I am using the latest, fully updated version of Firefox with Windows 10.

Can anyone help, please?
